Position Summary::/h2:
Partner with Category Managers to implement the Collaborative Category Optimization (CCO) Process in designated categories. Responsible for the management of Data, including: the gathering, summarizing, and analyzing of Data necessary for CCO. Communicate analysis of Data to Category Managers and Support the communication of Data to supplier Representiatives. Role model and demonstrate the companys core values of respect, honesty, Integrity, diversity, inclusion and Safety of others.
Essential Job Functions::/h2:
:Collect and validate Data from Internal Systems and supplier sources as needed
:Conduct supply market ReSearch to determine market trends and Insights
:Perform required key analyses, including Financial analysis, market analysis, Commodity Pricing analysis, and supplier Performance analysis
:Draw Insights and document findings from CCO and market analyses
:Work with Category Managers to Develop negotiation materials for supplier engagement
:Prepare Category Improvement Projections and conduct post:Implementation variance analysis
:Ensure recommendations align with the Customer 1st Strategy
:Demonstrate Leadership within the team structure and activities
:Assist Managers in identifying capabilities and Processes that drive continuous Improvement
:Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position Qualifications::/h2:
:2 years experience analyzing and interpreting Data
:Strong Knowledge of Financial statements and Programs available to retrieve information (e.g. KCMSDW, Business Objects)
:Ability to synthesize analyses into compelling written Communications
:CrEative, alert to New ways of approaching tasks
:Ability to be collaborative and work with and through committees
:Highly organized and proficient at multi:tasking
:Strong computer skills
:Effective communication skills
:Ability to travel independentlyDesired Previous Job Experience::/h2:
:Previous experience in a Category management role
:Knowledge of Kroger Mechandising Processes
:Process Analyst, Procurement Analyst, Category Manager, or Capital Management Analyst /Sr. Analyst in highly quantitative function
:Bachelors degree
