Position Summary:
Train all new hire Pharmacy Associates and administer training. Lead with a high degree of confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi:task. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.
Essential Job Functions:
:Provide day:to:day training support for new Pharmacy associates and encourage, monitor and assist new techs through the technician training program within 6 months from hire date
:Provide customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important and appreciated
:Ability to set the example and take the initiative as a Lead Technician following the programs and policies that are implemented in the pharmacy
:Manage inventory by following proper Medturn, Peyton and Cardinal procedures
:Manage labor by utilizing My eschedule to create work schedules to maintain proper coverage according to ELMS forecast
:Assist Pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a judgment call by a Pharmacist
:Report all safety risks or issues, and illegal activity, including: robbery, theft or fraud
:Ability to meet the business schedule needs to cover shifts and shadow techs
:Must be professional, dependable, possess positive attitude, good judgment, and be able to gain the support of others to get the job done
:Self:motivated, able to organize, prioritize, plan and meet deadlines
:Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position/Education Qualifications:
:Must be at least 18 years of age
:Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
:1 or more years of Pharmacy experience
:Able to attain National Pharmacy Certification within six months as well as any other Kroger pharmacy certifications
:Proven communication skills with leaders and peers
:Excellent phone and communication skills, good typing, and filing skills Desired Previous Job Experience:
:Previous comparable experience
:Retail pharmacy experience
:One or more years of experience in a management or supervisory role
:Knowledge of Pharmacy systems
