JOB SUMMARYSenior Staff Accountant (Billings and Collections Leader) to the Finance Group as it pertains to Accounts Receivable and Cash Collections. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESAccounts ReceivablePreparation of daily cash receipts report based on automatic deposits into the bank (CTS and AMG).Post daily cash receipts to customer accounts for all business units in correct database (CTS and AMG).Preparation of invoices for Rhinestahl CTS on a daily basis, including review of the original purchase order to verify invoicing instructions.Preparation of Credit MemoA?s and Pro Forma invoices as requested.Responsible for monitoring Credit Limits of Current Customers and processing Credit Requests.Preparation of monthly bank collateral reportsPrepare Gross Margin analysis and other weekly operational reportsReconciliation of Accounts Receivable and Customer Prepayment Ledger with the General Ledger on a monthly basis.Responsible for collection efforts and incorporate a professional approach to customer relations. Track all open collection items and coordinate collectionsCoordinate Credit Insurance processes and track for collateral reportingPrepare management reports as neededStrong interaction with Customer Account Managers in respect to deduction resolution.Train and support CTS CAMs on invoicing and collectionsProvide support for AMG in coordinating collections and reporting.CandidatesA? Qualifications and ExperienceAssociates degree or equivalent experience in business or related area.Minimum of 3 years Account Receivable (billing / cash application / collections) experience in a corporate environment.Excellent understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable in a manufacturing and distribution environment.Ability to work independently and be a self:starter.Strong Customer Service and communication skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office knowledge a must.Ability to handle a variety of tasks and situations in a calm and effective manner.Attention to detail.Excellent organizational mitment to company values and business ethics.An open, non:political team member who will quickly earn and maintain the personal and professional respect of people inside and outside the Company.Articulate and effective communicator with the ability to influence others through the employment of sound judgment and good sense rather than the use of authority.Highest standards of integrity, loyalty, honesty, moral and ethical values.PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
