Strong HR team seeking a competent and driven Coordinator to round out our department. At this time, we are prioritizing candidates with HR experience, but offer multiple opportunities for growth and development. Interviewing and hiring immediately for this outstanding opportunity. Position summary: Provides overall support for all facets of human resources related tasks; maintains employee records and acts as a liaison with Payroll. Provides assistance with facilitating the employee lifecycle and supporting departmental processes necessary to communicate and maintain the policies and procedures of the organization. Essential functions and responsibilities: Initiates employee records and performs payroll and benefit-related set- up and reconciliations Maintains ADP records for internal employees, to include but not limited to: terminations, entering new hires, updates, company code set-up, departmental and business unit updates Maintains ADP records for field employees, to include but not limited to: entering new hires, terminations, updates, company code set-up, departmental and business unit set-up Reviews data entry and communicates necessary corrections in a timely manner Work with cross functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance for internal and external employee records Maintains internal attendance and PTO spreadsheet and requests for time off; communicates balances and history to employees and managers as requested; updating the spreadsheet each week to accurately reflect time off and PTO balances Prepares reports and manages special projects by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends as dictated by the assigned work Processes, maintains and communicates information pertaining to garnishments, including entering and editing them in ADP, tracking on spreadsheet and communicating with appropriate parties Responds to and completes employment verifications in a timely and accurate manner Manages unemployment from the initial claim through the appeals process Assist with Form I-9 certification, E-Verify, on-boarding and orientation processes as needed for internal personnel Initiates Daily Changes File and Weekly Terminations File uploads to 4MyBenefits Assists with answering benefits questions by utilizing HR Manager and third party vendors as resources Conducts the weekly field staff insurance audit and terminates employees in ADP based on feedback of audit Runs Premium Distribution Report in ADP COBRA once per month and appropriately communicates COBRA participants to 4MyBenefits and insurance carriers Processes Internal Employee Referral Forms and communicates to necessary parties Assists with scheduling and coordination of Salon and Zen Room Appointments Assists with creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures Performs additional duties as requested by management Qualifications required: High School Diploma or equivalent One (1) year experience of employee records maintenance other relevant office experience Qualifications desired: Two (2) or four (4) year degree in Human Resources or related field One (1) year of experience working in the staffing industry
