The Risk Management Administrator provides support to the AVP Risk Management and Insurance, assisting in the performance of the Enterprise Risk Management process for Luxottica North and South America operations. The Risk Management Administrator assists in strategic identification of risk exposures and documentation of these risks, providing exceptional external as well as internal customer service to all Luxottica partners.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:Assists with Enterprise Risk Management process for North and South America, including risk identification, analysis, measurement, monitoring and reporting. Schedules and assists in conducting risk assessments and documentation of Company risks.
:Performs regular maintenance activities of Enterprise Risk Management reporting portal.
:Produces risk owner reports/presentations that are shared with risk owners, Italy Risk Management team and Control and Risk Committee of the Board of Directors.
:Manages the Certificate of Insurance program for North America.
:Researches insurance provisions, contracts and other legal documents; prepares and/or directs broker/carrier to prepare required certificates of insurance. Additionally, corresponds on proof of insurance disputes.
:Responsible for oversight of the Surety Bond Program for all required bonds (e.g. U.S. Customs, tax authority, utility, third party administrator, mechanic's liens and Medicare bonds).
:Organizes the annual insurance renewal process for all Canadian Opticians.
:Processes monthly invoices for insurance activities (e.g. third party administrator loss payments, service fees and other insurance invoices).
:Serves as a contributing member of the Business Continuity Planning team for North America.
:Provides general administrative support to the department (e.g. travel arrangements, T and E, office supplies, distribute mail, plan/coordinate meetings with outside vendors/brokers/carriers, manage offsite document storage function).
:Communicates effectively with internal partners including Legal, Real Estate, Lease Administration, Store Maintenance/Construction, Purchasing, Fixed Asset Accounting, EyeMed, Human Resources, Field, Atlanta Distribution Center and Oakley associates.
:Communicates effectively with external partners including landlords, mall managers, insurance carriers/brokers, independent, franchise and employed OD's, and associates in the field and headquarters.
:Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent
:3 + years of experience in risk management, accounting, finance or related field
:Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint with ability to learn new software as needed
:Ability to read and comprehend insurance provisions in leases, contracts and purchase orders
:Working knowledge of Filebound
:Trustworthy to work with confidential data
:Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
:Ability to work independently and within a team environment
:Ability to effectively interact with all levels of individuals, including Luxottica upper management and attorneys
