Work Study Student Worker
A and S Department of Biological Sciences
The McMicken College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Biology, is seeking a Work: Study Student Worker to conduct fruit fly media preparation, laboratory organization and administrative support. We seek a dependable student to prepare specialized food media for Drosophila culture in a dedicated fly kitchen; maintain lab organization and cleanliness; perform light clerical duties. Approximately 10 : 15 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications: The student worker must be the recipient of a Work Study Award based upon financial need and be admitted into a degree program. Must be enrolled at least part:time (six credit hours for undergraduate students, five credit hours for graduate students), with the exception of summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term. Student worker must meet the enrollment requirement for the entire semester. Must be age 16, or older.
