Key member of the Sunglass Hut Store Operations team, the Operations Technology Administrator will be responsible for maintaining store and field system access and functionality. The Administrator will develop strong partnerships within the field and corporate teams to ensure all systems are functioning as expected. Develop strong knowledge level of Sunglass Hut operations and projects related to internal websites/ applications, and in:store hardware.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:This position will work with key stakeholders on a broad spectrum of Sunglass Hut business initiatives to achieve operational goals, objectives and strategies to preserve efficient processes for field/store technology.
:Update store information databases across multiple systems to ensure they are aligned and current.
:Identify areas to improve database maintenance processes and develop partnerships with cross functional departments to facilitate the upkeep and accuracy.
:Develop and sustain Associate and organizational structure feeds to ensure all store websites function as expected allowing Field Leaders to Store Associates to perform operational activities.
:Partner with the support call center to investigate and escalate issues in a timely manner.
:Manage the relationship with third party vendors to facilitate enhancements and opportunities for improvements.
:Build and support electronic forms and spreadsheets for our Field and Store Leaders to streamline communications.
:Proactively address technical issues by identifying patterns and inconsistencies, and cultivate long:term solutions that will ensure continuous improvements to Store and Field technology.
:Keep abreast of all store and field technology initiatives in order to knowledgably address Field Leader questions/concerns and support escalations.
:Distribute and support Field Leader iPads to enable them to execute core business initiatives and remain mobile during store visits.
:Streamline the onboarding process for new Field Leaders and provide improvements to accelerate getting devices and systems delivered and functional.
:Create and maintain organization of electronic distribution lists in partnership with Zone Assistants and Store Operations leadership.
:Internal Communication: Sunglass Hut brand team, various Luxottica corporate office departments, Sunglass Hut Stores and Field Leadership
:External Communication: Vendors including, but not limited to Reflexis, BI Worldwide, SMG, HP, Pomeroy, etc.
:Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience
:3+ years experience working in a retail environment
:Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional (Excel, Access, Word, and Power Point)
:Strong technical skills working with various databases and complex spreadsheets
:Excellent written and verbal communication skills
:Ability to meet deadlines/manage multiple projects with the highest level of quality
:Strong attention to detail with ability to quality check for 100 accuracy
:Exceptional problem solving skills with ability to identify root cause of issue
