As a Clinical Education Specialist in the Cincinnati and Louisville areas, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities: Manage and build new and existing courses, including HALS, Single:Site, TAMIS, etc.?Manage and build cadaver/porcine courses for all surgical specialties according to hospital and departmental procedures?Oversee all aspects of running a labDevelop course facultyAttend, instruct and assist the ALS team with simulator residency and surgeon training programsDevelop and create course formats in conjunction with associated Applied teams in order to roll out new products and proceduresRepresent Applied at national labs/conferences such as ACS, ASCRS, AUA, SAGES, ACOG, AAGL, etc.Assist with follow:up on course leadsWork closely with the Applied MIS and ALS teams to meet their objectives via educational programsHandle all aspects of surgeon proctorships for your geographic areaThis position requires the following skills and attributes: BachelorA?s degreeThree years medical device sales experienceExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenStrong clinical and sales skillsProven assertiveness in facilitating program eventsProficient at problem solving with situations in constant fluxDocumented, superb follow:up skillsHighly detail:oriented and organizedCompetent at multi:taskingComputer proficient; Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookExperienced at creating, negotiating and monitoring budgetsAbility to work with all levels of hospital management and surgical specialtiesProven track record of meeting deadlinesExperience in planning educational events
