ContainerPort Group, Inc., the largest full-service intermodal transportation and terminal specialist in the Midwest, currently has a great opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our busy and growing Cincinnati National Accounts Management team. Principle Duties/Responsibilities: Acts as centralized point of contact to customers utilizing our 17 city network, responding to questions and requests as quickly as possible. Enters order information directly into computer system accurately and on a timely basis (immediate as received). Learns and understands our rate system to promote timely and correct release of invoices to the billing department. Provides information to customers on service capabilities, rates and equipment availability to build and grow the relationship with key accounts. Performs other duties as requested. Communicates with the Commercial and Sales team on operational issues or growth opportunities. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: High school plus one year or more of specialized training. Previous transportation experience helpful. Bachelor s degree desired but not required. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Ability to manage a high volume of email correspondence. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines, multiple tasks, and changing conditions. Ability to comprehend and identify potential operational issues and to positively communicate to both the customer and our organization for resolution. We ' rethebestbecausewehirethebest !
