The College of Medicine, Office of Operations and Finance is recruiting for a full:time (100 FTE)Grant Administrator 2. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff, and all our activities.
Job Summary:This position will provide recommendations and expert advice to management, faculty members, or other university groups on grant administration process:related topics. The positionwill be responsible forconducting and carrying out work procedures and activities in accordance with local, state, federal, and university regulations.
Primary duties may include the following:
:Assist faculty and staff with researching, locating, developing, writing, and administering federal, state, and private grants, contracts, and external funding sources.
:Oversee and ensure compliance of grants.
:Implement policies to ensure compliance with funding agency regulations.
:Advise faculty/staff in the design of sponsored programs.
:Oversee proposal preparation and submission process.
:Assist with budget creation and development.
:Other departmental duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree with three (3) years' experience; :OR: Associates degree with five (5) years' experience; :OR: seven (7) years' experience. Degree must be in a related field with experience in accounting and/or grant and contract administration or related area.
Ideal Qualifications:The idealcandidate will have experience providing customer service and counsel to multiple levels of leadership within a large organization. Candidates must be able to be able to communicate effectively and professionally in both verbal and written communications. The incumbent of this positon will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision and be considered a subject matter expert in grant administration processes for management and faculty.
