The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Cincinnati seeks to recruit innovative investigators focusing on a mechanistic understanding of cancer development and progression, invasion or metastasis, as well as development of cancer therapeutics, including immunotherapy. Programs that bridge the gap between laboratory discovery and applied pathology are of primary interest. Metabolic connections to cancer (i.e. glucose and lipid biology) are also areas of high priority for this institutional initiative.
The ideal candidates will be experienced investigators who have demonstrated consistent research excellence, with a sustained record of research funding, high:level publications and collegiality. We are particularly interested in candidates who have managed multifaceted, interactive research programs using hypothesis:based, innovative approaches to address important health:related areas. Applicants must have demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at UC. The appropriate candidate will be recruited at the level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor based on qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree (or equivalent) and at least two years of relevant postdoctoral or residency experience.
