As part of the Endeavor Schools Family, the Montessori Academy of Cincinnati (MAC) is located in Deerfield Township and offers programs for children beginning at the age of 18 months through 8th grade. The Montessori philosophy and teaching method are used, from the early childhood program through Middle School (with optional on:site before:school and after:school care for all ages). MACs goal is to instill a love of learning in each child and to assure a solid grounding in the basics of education that will help each student achieve his or her potential.The Montessori Academy of Cincinnati is currently seeking a Computer Specialist for grades 1st : 8th. Job Responsibilities Include:Teaching independently and in conjunction with classroom teachers for completion of student projects and papers.Opportunity for coaching afterschool LEGO League team(s) in the fall and early winter.Ensure safety and well:being of children at all timesEnhance learning through creative use of materialsJob Requirements Include: Ability to work approximately 8:30 am : 3 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays.Experience working with children and teaching keyboarding, Microsoft Office suite, computer literacy, and safe web searches.Would prefer experience using programs such as: Google Sketch:Up, Storytelling Alice, Building Homes of Our Own, Windows PhotoStory, Windows Movie Maker, Frames 6, Scratch, Turtle Art and Coding with Tynker etc. Middle school students have also had experience with HTML.Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personalityHighly professional and dependable Apply resume and salary history.
