The School of Information Technology in the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services is looking for a full:time Program Coordinator. This position will work closely with the School Director and the School Business Manager and will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all other activities.
The School of Information Technology (SoIT) currently confers both an ABET accredited undergraduate degree in Information Technology (BSIT) and Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT), which cover the areas of Networking/Systems, Software Application Development, Cybersecurity, and Game Development and Simulation. There are over 700 students in the School, and 14 full:time faculty members. SoIT is a vibrant unit, in an interdisciplinary college, which empowers individuals to become passionate, solution:minded Information Technology professionals by fostering: continuous innovation, research, leadership development, interdisciplinary problem solving, and real:world experience. The SoIT is a diverse, interdisciplinary, team:oriented, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
On a full:time basis, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Information Technology Solutions Center and the School of Information Technology. In particular, the Program Coordinator will work closely with the School and Center Director, and the School Business Manager to support different projects and events. Duties include but are not limited to data analysis, managing partnerships, project coordination, project management, conducting research, preparing reports, users' training, and event coordination.
A Bachelor's degree with one (1) year experience is required. Experience working in an academic department similar to the School of Information Technology and utilizing data analysis tool to inform the School's leadership and its stakeholders is a plus. Strong academic background and diverse experience is preferred.

This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
