The College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH) is seeking an Enrollment Services Advisor (Recruiter) to assist in the administrative and operational activities of the Office of Recruitment. Reporting to the Associate Director of Student Recruitment this position will assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies, programs and events targeting a specific segment of students. Additionally this role is responsible for identifying prospective students for our graduate programs and managing inquiry throughout the new student life cycle.
This is a highly visible position responsible for increasing awareness and building enthusiasm for CECH through student recruitment initiatives, outreach and communication, and specialized events. Support in the day:to:day operations of the the Office include: answering questions and resolving complex issues; recommending alternative guidelines, when applicable; maintaining and staying abreast of trends in student recruiting and changes in academic programs; assisting with development of long:range plans and strategies to achieve unit, department and university goals for areas of responsibility; monitoring and achieving established goals; compiling data required for internal and external reports and assessments. The Enrollment Services Advisor will generate inquiries from prospective student that convert to enrolled students, and will represent the Office of Recruitment at state and national professional meetngs, recruitment / college fairs, events, and presentations at schools, colleges, and organizations with 80 on road recruitment activities. The Advisor maintains collaborative relationships with departments / unit regarding recruitment efforts that enrich the student experience and is responsible for developing relationships with other colleges and corporate / community organizations. Duties also consist of:
:Conducting telephone appointments / interviews to provide information on the institution and college's admissions process and requirements,
:Qualifying candidates, explaining academic programs and assessing prospective students fit with the program,
:Providing excellent customer service to students through application, enrollment, and initial term start,
:Monitoring the application process from initial application submission through the first term of enrollment,
:Implementing lead management strategies from inquiry through start of first term,
:Effectively using CRM to track interactions and progression of all leads,
:Supporting new students through registration completion,
:Assisting in the execution of university Admissions Department organizational processes / procedures,
:Assisting in the determination of internal rules, policies, procedures, controls, and manage processes to advance service levels,
:Achieving daily key performance indicators related to speed to lead, call management, and applications vetted,
:Related duties as assigned.
Master's degree in related educational program, student affairs administration, or other related field with three (3) year experience in graduate student recruiting; :OR: Bachelors degree with five (5) years experience.
Ability to travel on a daily basis and work (10) weekends and overnights (80 road travel).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience may also require at least one (1) year in an outbound recruitment office.
