Receive cross training for other functional operational team responsibilities to provide assistance during peak work periods.Responsible for executing changes in investment options including setting directives, re:balancing, QDIA and default fund changes, and portfolio maintenance, also facilitating required communications to advisors, clients, and participants. Review work of peers and give detailed feedback. Research and respond to questions from plan representatives, and co:workers regarding fund availability fund change options and timing. Assist in the creation and maintenance of procedures and training of new employees. Research and take necessary actions for mutual fund changes such as fund names, mergers, liquidations and closures. Education: BachelorA?s degree in Business or Finance or related field, or the equivalent of education and /or relevant experience.Solid, thoughtful, rational and systematic approach, following processes closely to limit risk.Recognize and open to changing circumstances with a mindset of process improvement.Strong organizational skills.Understanding of investments in retirement plans.Experience: Prefer 2 years of experience in mutual fund operations or trading.Professional certification required: NoneStandard Insurance Company, The Standard Life Insurance Company of New York, Standard Retirement Services, Inc., StanCorp Equities, Inc., StanCorp Investment Advisers, Inc. and StanCorp Mortgage Investors, LLC, marketed as The Standard, are Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity employers.
