Job 61353Sodexo is seeking a General Manager (III) / Dining Director for Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport, KY. Newport, KY is right across the river from Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a 180 Resident Retirement Community and the largest provider of senior services in Northern Kentucky. We are seeking a leader that will work with the interdepartmental teams as they prepare to move into a beautiful new community by the end of this year. This new community that is being built is only 20 minutes on the freeway from the existing community. Requirement; experienced manager in food production and presentation with the ability to; teach, guide, and direct team members in creating extraordinary meals that are delivered with exceptional service Responsibilities; direct food production and service for all dining venues and catered events. Successful skill set includes; strong financial management, excellent written and verbal communication, effective leadership in managing back and front of the house dining activities, and experience in delivering trusting relationships within department and client organization. Position has an active role in managing cost controls, customer service enhancements and will provide strategic leadership and work collaboratively with other department services and several generations in the workplace to exceed resident and client expectations.
