Reporting to Corporate HR, the HR Business Partner/ Recruiting position provides leadership and support in all functional areas including recruitment, safety, onboarding, wellness, retention, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and other HR related matters for the sales and Field Service Organization. In cooperation with Corporate Human Resources, serves as a strategic and tactical business partner to the Sales and Field Service team striving to drive, improve, and support processes and procedures. Effectively coaches, trains, and makes recommendations to management and employees acting as a resource for all matters related to employment and Human Resource related issues. Provide effective recruiting strategies leadership for exempt and field positions. Partner with management to identify staffing needs to determine the most effective means to fill open positions. Responsible for coordinating and leading recruiting processes and activities, from position control administration through onboarding. Works closely with all members of the HR team on various projects and initiatives.LI:TS1Key Result Areas (KRAs): Sales and Field Service Business PartnershipSupports line management by providing HR support to achieve business objectives.Partners with Vice Presidents and Directors to set the vision for the organizationPartners to support communication to all field employeesGuides and motivates managers to ensure consistent and fair treatment of employees.Partner on compensation strategy for sales and field service organization Recruiting Process LeaderWorks with line managers to develop or update position descriptions for approved job openings.Develops and maintains established metrics relating to recruiting processes.Develops plan for each recruiting project in conjunction with hiring manager.Acts as knowledge center support the company:wide use of the HRIS recruiting/onboarding system.Engages with and sources job candidates through online social networking tools and technology, while representing and promoting the Hillman brand, to proactively fill the talent pipeline.Develops and orchestrates orientation plan for new hires.Conducts post hire follow:up at defined intervals to ensure new hires are effectively integrated Employee Relations Provide guidance on employee issues. Make recommendations in accordance with applicable State/ Federal laws and Hillman polices/procedures.Effectively address employee relations issues by conducting comprehensive investigations with sound appropriate resolutions.Promote employee engagement initiatives to encourage open:door relationship between employees and management. Present a positive image in employee/client/customer relations in all interactions with employees or visitors. Maintain integrity and confidentiality of department and employee personnel information. Sourcing and Staffing Coordinates and posts approved job openings with appropriate sources. Reviews applications/resumes and screens candidates.Refers qualified candidates to hiring management.Effectively communicates with candidates to schedule and conduct interviews.Conducts appropriate reference checks and arranges background screening.Develops and initiates approved offers to selected candidates.Maintains integrity and confidentiality of department and employee personnel information.Administers all new hire orientations and paperwork.Ensures all resources are available for new employees. HR Initiatives Provide proactive HR support and execution in all business initiatives.Research and provide input of HR products and processes to suggest better ways HR tasks can be more efficient and improve HR established practices. Play an active role in assisting with all employee activities and support initiates to encourage an engaged workforce.Education:BachelorA?s degreeMasterA?s degree or PHR, SPHR certification preferred Qualifications:Five years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business PartnerThree years of recruit
