Under general supervision from the Director of Orientation, this employee will plan, design, evaluate, modify and coordinate data and programs for New Student Orientation programs by performing duties such as:
:Assist with the implementation, design, and management of the New Student Orientation CRM (Slate).
:Maintain the New Student Orientation Communication Plan for 5000+ new students.
:Assist new students and their guests with the New Student Orientation registration process, including troubleshooting registration problems, managing refunds, and ensuring proper registration.
:Collaborate with other University constituents to ensure appropriate sharing of pertinent New Student Orientation information.
:Design/create and conduct workshops and programs related to New Student Orientation.
:Develop program objectives and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward objectives.
:Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions and develop action steps for program improvement.
:Develop, administer, and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires. Compile statistics and prepare reports.
:Assist in the recruitment and training of student staff, including maintaining applicant records.
:Interact with staff, faculty, external agencies, and other university departments.
Position will be 20 hours per week and increase to 40 hours per week in late May and throughout New Student Orientation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree with one (1) year ofexperience; :OR: Associate degree with three (3) years of experience; :OR: five (5) years of experience. Experience must be in program coordination.
This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
