Job Description:/h3:
The Regional Manager (RM) is responsible for all aspects of management of existing accounts (Kroger) in the designated geographical territory. This includes development of ongoing sales strategy, consultation and regular visitation with existing account contacts and maintaining industry contacts. The RM is also responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales opportunities in support of revenue forecasts in the designated geographical area. The RM will manage 3 : 5 Account Managers in Cincinnati.
Duties and Responsibilities:
:Develop, review and update Regional Sales strategy and plan that supports the Companys Strategic Initiatives
:Identify, influence and negotiate with key decision makers in order to maximize sales opportunities
:Generate new sales leads and follow:up on existing leads, updating SalesForce CRM with data
:Develop account plans and strategies that align to sales forecasts
:Develop pricing proposals and for sales opportunities
:Coordinate RFPs for sales opportunities
:Identify and support key tradeshows/events within existing accounts and industry
:Provide demonstration of company order entry system as necessary and be versed in all functions in order to sell the value of the system
:Coordinate with Operations and Account Executives all after:sale support through implementation and customer
:acceptance to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded
:Provide regular updates on account status and progress to sales forecasts
:Act as liaison between company and client
:Coordinate the flow of information between accounts and Account Executives
:Maintain high customer loyalty and satisfaction
:On:going research of C:store industry trends and developments and POP industry knowledge
:Provide customers with new and innovative P.O.P. ideas to generate new revenue opportunities within existing accounts
:Complete and distribute Trip Reports after every customer appointment
:Monitor and adherence to budgetary guidelines
:Meet account receivable goal for each customer
:Assume other responsibilities as assigned
Education and Experience:
:College degree with major in Marketing or Business preferred. MBA a plus.
:Minimum five years of sales and customer account management experience.
:Minimum five years of experience managing team of account or sales management professionals.

:Demonstrated ability to deal courteously and professionally with a diverse customers and internal customers such as creative and production departments.
:Ability and desire to balance hands on order entry, database management with strong customer service.
:Advanced ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
:Knowledge and ability to proofread copy and data.
:Proficiency with PCs to include knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), maintaining data bases, generating information and tracking status using proprietary software.
:Ability to produce detailed reports, particularly in Excel.
:Ability to build effective relationships.
:Ability to develop creative solutions to client and internal problems and challenges.
:Project management skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous project
