UC is one of the largest employers in the Cincinnati region, employing over 15,000 full time and part time faculty, staff and student workers. The University of Cincinnati has a long history of clinical, education and research programs and offers many opportunities for collaboration within the College of Medicine as well as with Cincinnati Childrens Medical Center. The Cardiology Division is comprised of almost 30 full time faculty members and nearly 20 fellows with broad subspecialty interests.
The Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and UC Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute seek cardiologists interested in the clinical practice of general cardiology and electrophysiology. Applicants must qualify for a full:time faculty position at the rank(s) of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor in the Department of Medicine.
Requirements: Board certification in Internal Medicine, board eligibility or certification in Cardiovascular Diseases, training in electrophysiology, ability to obtain an unrestricted Ohio State Medical License and DEA license. Cardiology faculty at UCMC are expected to contribute to ambulatory and hospital:based care, maintain active engagement in our education and training missions and participate in quality improvement, safety and research projects. New faculty will join an experienced team of cardiovascular electrophysiologists. Completion of M.D. or M.D. /PhD training is required.
