Position: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Category: Nursing Shift: Various Shifts Education Level: Associate's Degree Location Name: BlueRidge Vista LPN Licensed Practical Nurse - 12 Hour Shifts Part Time and Full Time Positions Available on All Shifts BlueRidge Vista is currently seeking experienced LPNs to work in a therapeutic hospital setting providing care and treatment to patients who are mentally ill. The Licensed Practical Nurse will perform practical nursing care and related technical work in the care, treatment, and rehabilitation of mentally ill individuals. The ideal candidate for the LPN position will be a licensed LPN in the State of Ohio and will have at least one year of progressively responsible work experience performing a variety of personal care, nursing care, and related technical work. Candidates must demonstrate thorough knowledge of practical nursing principles and practices, patient age groups and the developmental process characteristic of these age groups, and the ability to independently provide care and/or treatment that is appropriate to the age, medical condition, and/or developmental status of the patients served. Candidates must be able to observe, record, and report on the general and specific physical and mental conditions of the patients, as well as the signs and symptoms that may be indicative of significant changes in the condition of such patients.
