The College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Cincinnati is seeking a Post:Doctoral Fellow for the UC Health Stress Center. The Post:Doc Fellow will join a collaborative and growing department with a strong research and clinical emphasis, as well as recognition from the Best Doctors in America and Top Doctors in Cincinnati.
The UC Health Stress Center specializes in evidence:based assessment and treatment of PTSD to youth, adults, and families. The Post:Doc Fellow will be hired to provide gold:standard interview assessments as part of a funded treatment outcome study comparing Cognitive Processing Therapy to Accelerated Resolution Therapy. In addition, the Post:Doc will receive thorough didactic training and clinical supervision in evidence:based treatments for PTSD (including Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Behavioral Conjoint Therapy). The Post:Doc Fellow can also choose to be actively involved in other aspects of research, including study coordination, grant writing and publishing.
The Fellowship is for one year, with a possible option of extending it to an additional year by mutual agreement. Competitive salary and liberal benefits are included. This position is located on the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine campus in the exciting and growing city of Cincinnati, Ohio. Minimum Qualifications: Candidates should have completed or be near completion of their doctoral degree from an APA:accredited program in clinical, counseling psychology, or school psychology, preferably with an APA:accredited pre:doctoral internship.
This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
