Admissions/Recruitment Programs Intern
(Student Worker or Work Study Student Worker)
UNIVERSITY of CINCINNATI College of Medicine
This position will work directly with the College of Medicine Admissions team to recruit the best and brightest students for the upcoming school year. The Admissions Office is seeking an individual with skills and a desire to boost the marketing and promotions of the College of Medicine. The individual must be able to creatively write marketing and advertising slogans, tag lines, and brief marketing pieces that will portray the College of Medicine in an interesting and positive light. An individual that has an interest in publication development and content generation along with experience with various social media outlets is ideal. Experience with simple design programs such as adobe photoshop is also a plus. Please note that a background in science and medicine is not required for this position. A successful candidate must also be detail:oriented with a yes attitude to be able to help plan and implement programs such as College of Medicine interview days, second look events for admitted students and prospective student events. The Admissions Office is looking for someone that will take something great and make it ever greater and who also has an appreciation for the University of Cincinnati and for the city in general. Minimum Qualifications: A current student at the University of Cincinnati. Preference will be given to a candidate who qualifies for work study. This individual must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
