Northrop Grumman- Xetron in Cincinnati OH is looking for an experienced Electronic Engineer with System Architect / Lead Design experience within the ISR Systems group.
In this position, the candidate will lead the design and implementation of low SWAP sensor systems. This position requires system and/or subsystem design leadership and direct technical contribution in your particular domain specialty such as: RF/hardware, DSP design, RF communication, RF collection, and/or EW programs. Typical teams are 5-10 people and require our engineers to have diverse skillsets that apply to the entire lifecycle of a program. This position allows the candidate to have direct contact with our end customers and end operators of our products that allows for pragmatic and early feedback from the user community during the design process.
The campus has a wide range of products spanning multiple technologies such as SIGINT sensors, low SWAP communication transceivers, EW products, EO/IR, and chemical/biological sensors. However, we are primarily seeking individuals with backgrounds RF collection, EW, or special communications expertise. A demonstrated track record developing technical solutions with ingenuity and creativity is expected.
Responsible for the requirements verification process and sustainment process
Lead design for improvements in reliability, maintainability and supportability
Help guide and determine technical direction of program
Use MATLAB for modeling and simulation
