If youre a highly experienced marketing research professional with a solid track record of developing new client relationships, we may have a place for you on our team. We are a 30:year:old custom marketing research firm that specializes in helping clients build strong and profitable brands. Best known for our blended quantitative:qualitative methodologies, we serve as a trusted advisor to some of the worlds favorite brands.
Candidates should have a strong business development background and at least five years of marketing research experience. In addition to having demonstrated sales and research expertise, your client facing and consultation skills must be excellent. We work almost exclusively with category leading, global brands; strong strategic, analytic and communication skills are prerequisite for success.
In this position you will be directly responsible for revenue growth and share in developing the supporting strategies and tactics to deliver it. This position requires you to aggressively nurture new and existing business relationships and then grow those relationships over time. This position has a high degree of autonomy and candidates will work collaboratively with project team members within the organization.
Specific responsibilities include the ability to successfully:
Identify and create qualified sales opportunities
Play a leadership role at capabilities
presentations/sales meetings/industry events
Develop new business leads that align with our business model
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline driven towards building strategic partnerships and securing long term relationships for research and analytical services
Develop client presentations and proposals that demonstrates a thorough understanding of the clients business objectives through actionable and tailored research solutions
Work collaboratively with research team members during key client touch points throughout a project
Make client calls and deliver presentations in meetings/over web/phone daily
Grow current and potential client accounts through relationship management
Maintain an in:depth knowledge of
products/services/industry trends/ competition
Coach and mentor others toward success
Work with project teams in managing client expectations and addressing client needs throughout the project lifecycle

Success in these areas will lead to expanded responsibilities in the sales and marketing areas of the Company.

Minimum of 5 : 6 years in a sales related role with a history of exceeding sales goals from a cold start
Experience selling business:to:business services using a consultative selling style; prior experience in marketing services, brand marketing or client industry experience a plus
Experience selling marketing research services and depth of knowledge around quantitative and qualitative research methods is preferred; detailed knowledge or experience with marketing processes in certain industries (consumer packaged goods, retail and pharmaceutical) is a plus
Effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all clients and internal team members
