Position Summary::/h2:
Assist in the restaurant's daily operations to ensure guests receive excellent service and delicious meals. Liaison between front of the house and back of the house to improve overall restaurant operations. Essential Job Functions::/h2:
:Provide daily management of staff, including hiring, retention, scheduling, training, coaching, discipline, associate relations, performance management and policy administration
:Assist with meeting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions
:Support sales and profit goals by operating within cost of goods and labor productivity guidelines while maintaining great customer service
:Ensure seamless execution of front:of:the:house operations by scheduling associates appropriately and overseeing operational flow of guest volume
:Create an environment focused on hospitality to ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience that results in repeat visits and maximizes cover count
:Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures
:Assist the general manager with attracting and retaining quality, hospitality:oriented team members
:Empower and inspire team members while upholding company culture and restaurant brand ideals
:Support a collaborative front:of:the:house and back:of:the:house team and provide ongoing coaching and training to ensure excellent guest service, food quality and consistency
:Comply with federal, state, local and company food safety guidelines, food handling guidelines and rules governing sanitation and the cleanliness/maintenance of kitchen/dining room areas
:Comply with alcoholic beverage commission laws/regulations
:Ensure that daily restaurant paperwork is completed accurately and timely
:Travel to attend training and assist other restaurants
:Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position Qualifications::/h2:
:21 years of age or older
:2 years in a food service assistant manager position or equivalent experience
:Proficient point:of:sale knowledge
:General understanding of profit and loss, financials, labor, budget, inventory, food cost and ordering
:Proficient with Microsoft Office
:Proficient in mixology with knowledge of craft beer and wine
:Ability to multitask without compromising guest experience
:Excellent basic mathematical skills
:Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all management levels and associates
:Ability to complete and pass food safety training within required timeframes
:Ability to complete and pass alcohol certification within required timeframes
:Ability to work in a standing position for an entire shift
:Able to reach, bend, stoop, push and lift objects up to 50 poundsDesired Previous Job Experience::/h2:
