Purpose and Objectives : Mission and Vision of LoB
The Sales Cloud Strategy Team's mission is to provide the sales organization the highest quality demo environments, enabling the best demo experience through stability and predictability, from creation of demo content through the customer demo. We will ultimately strive to make our demo environments user friendly enough to elicit direct customer engagement anywhere, anytime. In pursuit of our mission, we will form new and value:add relationships across the enterprise to unleash existing talent in order to realize our goals. This role will focus on identifying and measuring key success metrics and driving high priority DevOps initiatives across multiple cloud solutions.
Expectations and Tasks : Deliverables
The SalesDemo DevOps Fellow will work across multiple products serviced by Solutions Experience to secure the operation of the SalesDemo environments and organizes and coordinates key initiatives important to the solutions teams. Experience working directly with operations and engineering teams is highly desired. Project management and a thorough understanding of key operational success metrics is required. Additionally, this role presents a unique opportunity to work cross functionally with different groups within and outside of Solution Experience, leveraging internal experience where available and identifying the need for new or enhanced skillsets as needed.
The core responsibilities of the SalesDemo DevOps Specialist role include:

Measure and report SalesDemo health:

Develop relevant KPIs and SLAs, SolEx and partners
:
Align metrics with key stakeholders
:
Proactively identify/ take action on negative trends
:
Escalation framework and handling:
:
Define sales escalation procedures
:
Monitor and measure sales escalation efficiency
:
Proactively identify and take action on demo issues
:
DevOps Strategic Initiatives:
:
Work cross functionally to drive strategic work streams
:
Collaboration closely with key stakeholders on "matrix" initiatives
:
Develop an executive dashboard and reporting cadence
Learning and Development Opportunities
:
Gain experience and exposure at all levels across multiple solutions
:
Develop a thorough understanding of the intersection of Engineering and Operations
:
Understand and raise awareness of key DevOps Gaps
:
Organize and work cross:functionally to drive key strategic initiatives
:
Develop and exercise service oriented leadership skills while bringing thought leadership to the table
Work Experience
:
Consulting experience at SAP or at a major 3rd Party firm is highly desired
:
Strong analytical skills with experience developing and measuring operational KPIs
:
Familiar with leading performance monitoring tools and processes is desired

Experience managing mid:to:large size projects
:
Experience in operations of large data centers and with key data center processes
:
Experience working with engineering and release/deployment teams as a developer or as a consultant
:
Strong customer:facing skills
