Tool and Die Supervisor

Osborne Coinage Company (leading manufacturer of coins and medallions) and Doran Mfg. LLC (manufacturer of vehicle transportation safety parts) has immediate opening for a highly skilled Tool and Die Supervisor.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of Cincinnatis oldest and best companies with a rich history dating back to 1835. Throughout history, Osbornes coins, tokens and medallions have been a significant artifact of U.S. culture.
The mission of a Tool and Die Supervisor at Osborne Coinage and Doran Mfg. LLC is to build and maintain all the tooling required to support the production stamping and coining operations. The tooling includes: blanking dies, progressive dies for Osborne Coinage and Doran, press tooling, press repair parts, and automation tooling. An additional mission is to provide innovative ideas and prototype tooling to generate new revenue from future products and customers.
The Tool and Die Supervisor will also oversee the personnel and ongoing activities in the tool and die shop. This person must be able to build upon previous successes and take the team to the next level, which will include heading up a tool and die apprenticeship program. Manager must be capable of collaborating with cross:functional teams and department leaders to address concerns and issues that affect safety, part quality, production efficiency, maintenance, and die/mold function.

In addition, we are also accepting applications for our new Tool Rm Apprentice Program. Candidates must commit to 4:5 year apprenticeship to learn and perform duties to design, repair, modify and troubleshoot new and existing punch press dies to maintain part quality and production standards.

JOB Skill and Requirements
Analytical skills: Ability to create and read advanced blueprints to create specialized tools.
Attention to detail: Precision is key
Technical Skills: Use CAD and G and M Codes necessary to design and craft tools and progressive die experience
Technical Experience: Minimum of 10 years tool and die maker experience
Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience. Great organizational skills and the ability to prioritize. Comfortable multitasking, resolving competing priorities, and meeting deadlines; maintain good employee relations through effective communication.
