Guitarist wanted – De Los Muertos

De Los Muertos is looking for a new guitarist.

"De Los Muertos pumps a thousand volts of electricity through the rotting corpse of honky-tonk country, resurrecting it to serve in the undead armies of genuine punk rock."-The Examiner

Our sound is extremely unique and is best described by listening to our sound clips or viewing one of our live videos. We have had the opportunity to play with some great regional and national acts and don't see it slowing down (Koffin Kats, Whiskey Daredevils, Nekromantix)

What we desire in a guitarist is the ability to blend different musical styles into our unique sound. Must have reliable transportation and the equipment necessary to perform live at large and small venues. Must be able to practice 1-2 times per week (practice space in Camp Washington, near downtown) and be available for performing at least 2 times per month. We also travel regionally and will occasionally play in Nashville, Louisville, Lexington, Indianapolis, etc.

To contact us either respond to this ad or call 513-884-5871.

Do you write but not sing? Male vocalist available…

You’re a very good songwriter, maybe you’re brilliant. But there’s just one thing: you don’t have the greatest singing voice. Maybe pretty good – just not good enough to really sell the GREAT song you’ve just written.

I am a male demo vocalist with many styles under my belt: Rock, Country, Alternative, Metal, R&B, Standards, surf music…you name it.

I will put that finishing touch on your next song, including just the right vocal arrangement.

I have the ability to record at home and send you the files. Payments can be made by money order or through Paypal if it’s needed.

Go to http://www.myspace.com/jonstathammusic for samples of my work.

Feel free to call as well: (310) 882-1967 Jon

I've been playing semi-professionally since the 60's. I've played it all from classic rock to country. I'm a strong lead singer, and even stronger harmony singer. I am experienced in doing multiple harmony songs such as Eagles and Beachboys etc. Very experienced in taking a working band to the next level. I'm not interested in a start up project. Small but busy home-based songwriting company seeks submissions from female vocalists for paying demo sessions (vocals & guitar). Focus is on newer country.
You MUST submit recorded samples (MP3s, rough demos etc.) for consideration. If you do not have a vocal demo, then contact me about recording a basic one for you.

Thanks,

Looking for Guitar and Bass

Wanting to make or join cover band. We are a drummer and female vocals. We have our gear, but no practice space or PA. We want musicians with their own motivation. Learn the music on your own time and use practice to bring all the parts together and get timings down.

What we want to play is fun music. We have influences from KISS to Reo Speedwagon, Deana Carter to Atreyu. We will do country or rock, depending on what comes our way. Not wanting rap or metal. We want music that is fun to play and fun to watch. People with some sense of creativity and have the ability to make songs fun would be awesome.

We want to go out at least 2 or 3 times a month to make some decent money. If not showing up to practice, negativity, and drama is your game, we don't want you.

We want musicians who can play and are willing to get their music down so we can get up and out to play quickly.

Bassist looking

38 and looking for a new band. I just ended a 4 year stint with the band Equalibrium. I am looking to do covers (maybe a FEW originals). I have pro gear and transportation. I learn fast and can move with things. I am looking for something ready to go (or almost there - please I am not looking to start from scratch) - preferably rock/pop/classic/country. Influences range from STP to Duran, Puddle of Mudd to Saliva, Pink Floyd to Big and Rich and everything in between(sorry I don't/ you don't want me to sing). I'm in the Forest Park area.

For the most part, I play well with others but can't stand drama and spinning wheels. I want to work with and be part of a band not a group of egos. I don't want to take over the world (did it and have the t-shirt) but I want to have fun playing.

Interested I can go into more detail.

Thanks for reading.

Savage Soul is looking for a new bass player. We're and energetic, no frills, old school influenced metal band. We're looking for someone who can 1. learn the current set of originals, 2. learn and help expand the current set of covers and 3. hit the ground running when it comes to writing and recording new originals.Influences include but are not limited to: Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Black Label, Pantera, Clutch, Metallica, Megadeth, some outlaw country like Hank III, anything from Danzig (Danzig, Samhain, Misfits), Rob Zombie and tons of other sleazy, slimy, balls out music. We're looking to add a new level of showmanship and technical proficiency to things. You don't have to be the greatest, but you have to really show a passion for playing balls out music and really putting a ton of heart into it.
