Classic Remo Mastertouch Drum Kit Shell Pack

posted: October 13, 2009, 09:22 AM

For Sale: The Remo Mastertouch Special Edition Shell Pack. This kit consists of (drumhead size listed first): One very punchy (20x16) Kick Drum, four Rack Toms(10x9, 12x11, 14x13, 15x14), one bass drum mounted double tom holder, one double tom tripod, and four L-arm ball and socket tom holders. This kit is in very good condition. I have taken very good care of it. It sounds great and it looks great. The Quadura finish (Cherry Red) is very durable and these drums look amazing under stage lights (and outdoors). There are a few very minor scuffs which are just about impossible to see except under the closest scrutiny. There are certainly none of the gouges in the wrap that you see so often in used drum kits. These are Acousticon shells, which are very strong and produce a warm resonant tone. This is a very versatile, and musical kit and can be used for any style of music. The tom mounts and tom stand are in excellent condition and very stable. Once you get your toms set they don't move. This shell pack would make a great primary or back up kit for any drummer. Just add your favorite snare drum, hi-hat, and cymbals and you will be driving the band.

43 years experience playing in bands -- '50s, '60s, '70s, '80s , including several pro gigs. Top equipment(two sets -- vintage '60s Ludwig and '90s Tama), complete set of drum mics and cables. Last two bands I played in were N. Ky.-based Chequered Past '60s-'70s(co-founder)from '95 to '03; and I toured with the Van-Dells '50s-'60s show band for 7 months in '92. I know and can play a very large repertoire of '50s-'80s music. I have a professional attitude, solid work habits, and I can learn your sets or shows quickly. Looking for weekend cover bands -- not interested in blues, southern rock, country. I prefer at least a five-piece band with keys playing danceable '60s, '70s, '80s, but will consider others.
